Parent Meeting March 28, 2010
Today's meeting dealt with the following subjects:
Align the Curriculum across Grade Levels
- Start tajweed at kindergarten so that there is not a bottle neck at the 1st grade level
- Slow down and really understand the letters and belief concepts in the lower grade level
- Align teachers by having them actually follow the curriculum
Get Clarity from Br. Khalid Regarding Expectations of the Parent Committee
- What is the vision of Sunday School?
- What is the role of the Parent Committee to the vision of Parent Committee?
- What are the parents authorized to do?
- What are Br. Khalid's expectations of the Parent Committee?
- What is the level of influence and authority allowed to the parents
- How are we utilizing the parent committee?
