Parent Committee Expectations at the Leadership level

Curriculum
  • Do only things we are able to do
  • Keeping costs in sight
  • Will accept any new Quran Reader
  • Slow down curricula at the younger level
  • Stronger teacher for Tajweed
  • Teacher Styles from class to class should be fluid
  • Conduct an end of the year curriculum development workshop
  • Curriculum is the focus of this group
Teacher/ Parents
Training: Conduct a training for best practices by a external practioner
Fundraising: Don't worry about fund raising for books right now
Safety: Prefer to have salah in the masjid
Extra Curricula:
  • Boys and Girl Scouts
  • Surah Clubs
  • Arabic Writing (After Duhr)
  • Summer Program
