Dar-un-Noor Sunday School
HAJJ DAY
November 21, 2010

Inshallah, on November 21, we will have a simulation of the hajj in the basement of Al-Farooq Masjid.  The idea is to provide our students the opportunity to experience the hajj and eid.  We will build a miniature kaba, mina, musdalifah, and Arafat.  We will have guides who will walk students through the complete hajj. To launch this we need your help!

We will be meeting to discuss this will be on November 14 @12:00 pm - 1:00 pm in the Dar-un-Noor Basement.  Please join us to share your ideas.

Shukran.

LOVE the idea! Please provide the guides with notes regarding each stop so that all guides have the same material that they tell students. It's going to make it easier for the guides and the students.
I think students will really enjoy this activity, and learn a the same time. I wish I had done it when I was a kid!
I'm glad you like it. I have developed a step by step script and logistic guide. I just need help implementing it. Inshallah we can get enough people to make this happen within a week.
What time is the Hajj simulation?
The discussion Sundasy Nov 14 was focused on Hajj Event planned for Sunday November 21 and how to make it a success. Sr. Saadia has put together a well organized document which outlines the most that can be achieved. This document is attached to this thread under heading “HajjDay.docx”.

There will be some modifications and details in implementations which I shall outline below.
